So:
1) It seems to me "The default value for N is 8" applies Only if you actually use /MT and omit [:N]
i.e. without /MT on cmdline Robocopy will not "Create multi-threaded copies with 8 threads" (= will just use 1 copy thread)?

2) Are you sure Vista version of Robocopy have /MT switch? ("Note: The /MT parameter applies to Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7")
