I've been using Sandisk Extreme PRO USB 3.0 Flash Drive with E2B for a long time and I'm still excited. I wanted to buy Sandisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Solid State Flash Drive, although there are always problems with the Flash Drive (Amazon reviews).
On Amazon Germany I read in questions and answers:
I want to install a bootable linux on the stick. Is the stick USB 3 bootable?
SanDisk Customer Care: We would like to point out that we did not test the sticks like bootable drives and we do not recommend this usage. Because our USB sticks are not suitable as bootable devices in contrast to our internal SSDs. Using a SanDisk USB flash drive as a boot device is not covered under our warranty.
What is your opinion on this statement? I am now testing an NVME M.2 SSD with external housing (JMS583 chip).
